To ensure a fair and positive user experience, we propose a feature that transfers the cost of cancellation fees to hubs when they initiate the cancellation of an experience. This policy change is aimed at maintaining customer satisfaction by removing the financial burden from the users in events of cancellations outside their control.
Feature Functionality: When a hub cancels an experience, the cancellation fees currently absorbed by the users should be charged to the hub's account instead.
User Interface: Implement clear notifications and confirmations within the hub's dashboard when they attempt to cancel, informing them of the fee charge policy.
User Communication: Automated updates to users affected by cancellations, explaining the fee has been waived for them and charged to the hub.
